Surrounded by ice, wind, fire, smoke, earth, and the northern lights of Iceland, my perspective on beauty expanded into something elemental, beyond words and imagination. By slowing down and attuning to the rhythms and flow of nature, I experienced an unexpected process of unlearning and relearning.

Returning to my studio, I continued to translate these experiences, allowing them to shape both my visual language and my approach to making, using references from my field notes taken in Iceland
